Our Story

A History of Service

Three decades of parents, volunteers, and community members united by one purpose: supporting Danville's student musicians.

Where It All Began

The Danville Band Boosters was founded by a dedicated group of parents who believed that strong music programs required strong community support. What began as a small volunteer group organizing bake sales and car washes has grown into a fully incorporated nonprofit organization supporting hundreds of student musicians each year.

Over the decades, the Boosters have helped the Danville Marching Band earn regional recognition, funded instrument purchases that would otherwise be out of reach, and created a welcoming community for band families across the district. Our story is one of neighbors showing up for neighbors — and for the next generation of Danville musicians.
